Marion Jones received the ‘Female Athlete of the Year’ award from Sylvester Stallone during the ESPY Awards in Las Vegas on Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. Jones also won awards for ‘Female Olympic Athlete of the Year’ and ‘Women’s Track and Field Athlete of the Year’.

Actor Sylvester Stallone and musician Scott Weiland of the Stone Temple Pilots appeared as presenters at the first My VH1 Music Awards, November 30, 2000 in Los Angeles. VH1 viewers voted for their favorite singers and groups via the Internet during the awards show which was telecast live on the VH1 cable network.
