Actor Sylvester Stallone and musician Scott Weiland of the Stone Temple Pilots appeared as presenters at the first My VH1 Music Awards, November 30, 2000 in Los Angeles.

VH1 viewers voted for their favorite singers and groups via the Internet during the awards show which was telecast live on the VH1 cable network.
