Sylvester Stallone’s reality boxing show The Contender ain’t heard no bell.

The show is coming out of its corner for another bout as ESPN confirms a second season of the series in April 2006. Casting and production on the series will begin immediately.

Meanwhile, on the 15th October ESPN will broadcast a live championship rematch between Contender winner Sergio ‘The Latin Snake’ Mora and Peter ‘The Pride Of Providence’ Manfredo Jr, whom Mora defeated in May’s finale. 11pm EST / 8pm PST. Enjoy, Contender fans!
