Sylvester Stallone has wrapped a small role in Reach Me, an indie drama written and directed by John Herzfeld (once Stallone’s co-star in the heady 80s action film Cobra).
The story follows a group of people who all have a connection to a self-help book authored by a reclusive former football coach. The credited cast for Reach Me at this early stage includes Danny Aiello, Elizabeth Henstridge, Thomas Jane, and Cary Elwes.

It's always cool when a major star of Mr. Stallone's caliber lends himself to small indie projects. It shows that he wants to give back and has not forgotten where he came from. I have so much respect for that. That said, Mr. Stallone would you do a cameo in our action film we are shooting this summer? Ha ha... couldn't hurt to ask.....right?

When I am having a bad day or if life seems like it is getting a bit much I just slide the Rocky Balboa CD into the DVD player and let the "LIFE LESSONS" slide over me. Such deep messages but at the same time so simple. Very inspirational and uplifting. As a side, when I am looking at doing a hard training session the Rocky music helps with lifting and pushing the heavy super sets! Thanks Mr Stallone, you are an inspiration. Long may you have health and strength so that you can continue to entertain us as you have for so long.

This project sounds very interesting. It's nice to see Stallone working a big ensemble cast in a Drama. Looking forward to seeing this one.
