Sly at Everton

Sylvester Stallone took time out for his Scouse pals when he attended the Everton vs. Reading Premiership football match at Goodison Park, Liverpool, Sunday Jan. 14, 2007.

Stallone visited as a guest of the club before travelling to Paris and then London for the British premiere of Rocky Balboa on January 16th.

    having been to phily a few times and heralding from the blue half of liverpool..i can see what the man was saying when he commented upon the people of phily and liverpool being similar.he made a great choice in choosing everton too..if only our recent results were something to talk about i would be oh so much happier than at presentanyway,heres to yet another long dogfight to stay in the premiership...once more unto the breach dear friends,once more....

    I heard he had a great time in Liverpool and compared the city and its people to that of Philadelphia...Just like the great man portrays in his Rocky films, the Liverpool are also cut from the same cloth and it was good to see him appreciate this!
