Actor Liam Hemsworth has been cast alongside Sylvester Stallone in forthcoming action extravaganza The Expendables 2, which will be released by Lionsgate in 2012.
Director Simon West is helming the star-studded sequel, in which Stallone returns as team leader Barney Ross.
In addition to Expendables alumni such as Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger, the cast will be expanded to include stars like Jean-Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris.
