It’s exciting to see COP LAND (1997) getting some love recently from online movie hubs like Cinephilia & Beyond and the JoBlo Movie Network, who have rediscovered this modern western fable for the classic it is.

If you haven’t seen the film, the story follows a sheriff (Stallone) in a small New Jersey town inhabited and dominated by corrupt New York City cops. Their corruption grows until he can no longer allow himself to stand by and do nothing.
