A small update within this article at CNN revealed some information about a television show called The Last Cop which will be executive produced by Sylvester Stallone, Kevin King, Mikkel Bondesen, Chris Fedak (writer) and Kristen Campo (co-executive producer).
Life can seem to pass in the blink of an eye, but for LAPD cop Mick Branigan it actually did in this project based on the hit German series. After almost 20 years in a coma, Mick awakens to a changed world — his loving wife has moved on, his teenage daughter doesn’t know him, and his old police force bears no resemblance to the one he knew in the ’90s.
In other news, Lionsgate has scheduled The Expendables 3 for August 15, 2014. They have also moved the release date for Schwarzenegger and Stallone’s latest action team up, Escape Plan back a month to to October 18, 2013.

hmmm...it's strange...the latest news on this project that I could find on the internet was this one and meanwhile dates over a year back...has this project died? An update would be nice.
