Stallone memorabilia auction under doubt

By Webmaster on April 15, 2011 / 1 min read

Celebrity gossip website TMZ broke this story, which revealed that a pair of boxing gloves said to be worn by Sylvester Stallone in the original Rocky movie have been pulled from a high profile Hollywood auction when Stallone himself questioned the authenticity of the items.

Over the years, we have received many emails from disappointed Stallone fans who have purchased ‘signed’ Stallone items from online auction websites, only to discover that they are not legitimate. Please be careful to obtain a good standard of proof when purchasing memorabilia from any source.

I have loved you in all your movies, I have collected all kinds of things about you. I have been collecting since I was in my 20's. I'm in my 50;s now. My ex-husband sold and burned everything I had collected over the years because I left him. I was so upset. I cant afford you memorabilia, I just wanted you to know that I admire you as an actor, how you write, produce and do your own stunts and how you are a hero in so many children lives. I have two grandchildren and they love you. Keep doing what you do, you are a real person and have never forgotten where you came from. A kind heart with a contagious smile. You may never read this but maby someone will let you know.
